The Call for Papers is now open for the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) 2027 Convention, and we’re inviting new and experienced professionals to help shape an engaging and innovative program for speech-language pathologists and audiologists across Texas. Popular areas of demand are:
- Advanced content in all learning pathways
- Practical, therapy-focused sessions
- Multicultural and bilingual representation
- Topics supporting real-world challenges in schools and healthcare
- Ethics topics with a clinical focus
The upcoming Convention will expand upon exciting new ways for attendees to connect and collaborate. In addition to traditional educational sessions, potential speakers can submit for the new Networking session type that includes:
- Panels and forums in which experts can share ideas and connect with attendees
- Roundtable discussions and breakout sessions designed to foster meaningful conversations and peer-to-peer learning around timely topics
Another exciting change is that the TSHA Convention is shifting to a streamlined two-day schedule, taking place Friday and Saturday, January 29-30, in Dallas. This will create a focused, high-impact experience packed with education, networking, and professional connection in a format that makes attendance more accessible for busy professionals.
Whether you have innovative clinical insights, research findings, leadership strategies, or thought-provoking ideas to share, this is your opportunity to contribute to the future of our fields and inspire fellow professionals across Texas. Submit your proposal by June 24 to be part of the conversation in Dallas. We can’t wait to see what you bring to the podium!
