It’s time to start looking ahead to the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) 2027 Convention on January 29-30, and we’re excited about what’s in store! With a return to Dallas and expanded opportunities for connection and learning, Convention is designed to bring professionals together in new and meaningful ways.
After a long time away, the TSHA Convention is headed back to Dallas! We’re excited to return to this vibrant Texas city and give attendees the chance to experience Convention in a new setting while reconnecting with colleagues from across the state. Whether you’re a longtime TSHA member or attending Convention for the first time, Dallas will provide the backdrop for two full days of learning, networking, and professional connection.
Learning Pathways Are Back!
Our Learning Pathways will continue this year, helping attendees navigate Convention based on their professional interests and areas of practice. Whether you’re looking to deepen your clinical expertise, explore emerging topics, or expand your professional knowledge, Learning Pathways make it easier to create a Convention experience that fits your goals, and this year, we’re adding even more opportunities to connect within each pathway.
Networking Sessions—with CEUs!
Each Learning Pathway will feature networking sessions, giving attendees dedicated time to connect with colleagues who share their interests and professional experiences. These sessions are designed to encourage conversation, idea-sharing, problem-solving, and connections that can continue long after Convention ends. We believe some of the most valuable learning happens when we share experiences with one another, and we’re excited to recognize that learning with continuing education credit.
A New Convention Schedule
This year also brings a significant change to the Convention schedule. Convention will feature two full days of programming on Friday and Saturday, creating a more focused and intentional Convention experience.
And rather than starting Convention with an opening keynote, we’ll close out Saturday afternoon with a closing keynote. The goal is to bring everyone together one final time to reflect on what we’ve learned, celebrate the connections we’ve made, and leave Convention energized and inspired to carry that momentum back into our workplaces and communities.
Stay Tuned for Sunday!
There’s still more to come. Stay tuned for additional information about educational programming on Sunday, with more details coming soon.
From our return to Dallas to continued Learning Pathways to new CEU-eligible networking sessions and a closing keynote designed to bring us together one last time, this TSHA Convention is shaping up to be an exciting opportunity to learn, connect, and elevate our professions together!
We can’t wait to see you in Dallas!
