SLP-Assistants Guide
The Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) is proud to share the first six modules of the new SLP-Assistant Guide. One additional module is currently in development. The purpose of the Guide is to enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of SLP-Assistants. The Guide modules should be accessed by both SLP-Assistants and by SLPs who provide supervision for SLP-Assistants. In addition, new as well as experienced SLPs may find the content of the Guide helpful to refresh and update their knowledge and skills.
Module 1 - Roles and Responsibilities for SLP Assistants (1 CEU)

Module 3 - Clinical Considerations (2.5 CEU)
Module 4 - Therapy Planning (1.5 CEU)
Module 5 - Treating Speech Sound Disorders (1.5 CEU)
Module 6 - Language Intervention (1.5 CEU)
Module 7 - Fluency (1.5 CEU)
Instructions for requesting continuing education credit are included at the end of each module. Continuing education credit is free for current TSHA members, and is $20.00 for non-members.
