Position Description:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Conduct Full Individual Evaluations to identify children or adults who may be eligible for speech and language services.
o Conduct re-evaluations of children when requested or necessary.
o Coordinate with parents and any other relevant persons in scheduling, evaluation results, and execution of Plan of Care.
o Provide parent training in the area of speech and language, as needed.
o Maintain service-related records, service logging for Medicaid purposes, and progress notes.
o Supervision opportunities available, if interested.
Qualifications:
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Master's degree in communication disorders from an accredited college
o Valid Texas license in speech-pathology
o Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA)
o Must be comfortable working with both children and adults.
o MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
Preferred: Ability to provide feeding therapy and conduct feeding evaluations.
