What are you waiting for? Using “wait time” to affect a change

There is power in silence, specifically in therapeutically applied “wait time.” The concept of waiting for a response is not a new concept, but how long does one wait? Why is wait time indicated? What are the applications of increasing how long one waits for a response? How does one know if they are waiting long enough or too long? These and other applications will be explored.
