Cleft Palate Feeding and Swallowing: An Introduction for the Speech-Language Pathologist
Track: Medical Speech Pathology
This session will familiarize SLPs with expected characteristics of feeding from birth-twelve months in the context of cleft palate, appropriate modifications and interventions, and goal areas for feeding therapy when indicated. Swallow studies and intervention for complex cases involving cleft palate will also be reviewed.
