Career Awareness Information
TSHA acknowledges that there is a shortage of speech-language pathologists and audiologists in Texas. To encourage students to pursue careers in the professions, TSHA has developed a packet complete with brochures, pamphlets, bookmarks, and a career awareness DVD. We encourage TSHA members to take advantage of this free information and give a presentation to an elementary school, middle school, or high school in your area. Packets are free to TSHA members. To request your free packet, email jennifer.hardina@txsha.org. Or click here to download a Career Awareness Packet Request Form.
TSHA has a new Public Information Exhibit (PIE) available free for TSHA members that focuses on career awareness! Take this exhibits to a career fair, health fair, open house, workshop, or seminar and promote the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology. Shipping costs for the PIE exhibits will be paid by TSHA. The PIE will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Each of these booths come with easy-to-carry traveling cases and can be set up in less than 5 minutes! Click here for more information on reserving the TSHA PIE.
